AFRICAN GEMSBOK HORN WITH WARTHOG TUSK SCANDI GRIND FILE WORKED BLADE

This is another custom MAB Scandi grind drop point hunting knife made from a carbon tool steel billet, Old file, By me Mark Buzzell (MAB) right here in Carmel Maine. This custom drop point knife is 8″ inches overall with a 3-7/8″ inch tool steel blade and just over 7/8″ inch wide and 1/8″ inch thick with a rockwell hardness of 59. The handle is made from some great looking stabilized African Gemsbok horn and African Warthog spacers, Your handle will come alive outside in the sun with tons of colors.. The brass guard, Brass spacers and pommel are all made from flat bar and sheet stock and shaped to the knife by hand. The brass spacers with the Warthog ivory give this one a great look to finish off this great custom knife. The handle fits just great in your hand for a snug grip as well. The knife is a rat tang construction with a corby nut in the end so it will hold up in the field if you decide to give it some use. Your custom knife has also been hand sanded from 220 grit to 1,200 grit for a mirror finish on the handle and The blade. I also hand filed the top of the blade in my “Barb Wire” pattern. All my file work is done by hand with a round file and a half round file, Not with a dremel like some custom knife builders do and call it file worked. So as you can see I put a lot of time into every one of my custom knives from fit and finish, To file work, So each custom knife can be used in the field or saved as a collectors piece for years to come. Your knife’s custom sheath was made by Carl Thomas of mississippi. Your custom knife will ship in a zip up knife case and come with a coa and a dvd telling more about the custom knife, Time spent when it was made and so on. This one of a kind should last a good many life times. Shipping is $6.00 for priority mail with signature conformation and insurance. SORRY NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
