Custom Buck 110 Damascus blade fossil coral handle pocket knife full file worked knife

This is a customized Buck 110 pocket knife that I took the time to make a one of a kind collectors piece. with Exhibition grade stabilized fossil coral. The fossil coral used is collected from oceans around the world and will date from 15,000 to 20,000 years old and puts a little weight into the knife, Very few knife makers will work with fossil coral because of the amount of time it takes to get the coral voids filled and sanded smooth even after the stabilizing processes, The handle was sanded to 1,200 grit to give it a glass finish. The knife will come alive outside in the sun. I also hand filed the top of the back spring right down the blade in my “vine” pattern, and I did a little file work on the inside of the spring as well just a small “vine” pattern. I also replaced the blade with a 200 plus fold Spanish lace pattern Damascus blade to make it a real one of a kind. The Knife blade is marked with my MAB logo as the maker of this fine custom knife. The knife blade was made from a bar stock Damascus billet. The knife billets are shaped, ground, polished, oil quenched hardened and tempered to Rockwell 58, then acid etched to help bring out the Damascus pattern, Then gun blued and given one final polish. Knife is brand new never used and will ship with its original factory box and factory sheath as well as the custom leather sheath made by carl thomas of Mississippi. As you can see I put a lot of time into this one to make it a collectors piece or one to use everyday, either way this one will make for a good investment or to hand down to future generations, Shipping is $6.00 for USPS priority mail with insurance and signature conformation. Sorry NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING.
