WART HOG TUSK IRON WOOD HANDLE TWIST DAMASCUS BLADE KNIFE

This drop point skinner has a dark twist damascus blade with a rare handle, It’s not often you can find a wart hog tusk big enough or solid enough to make a good knife handle. This piece was both, Solid and Big enough, I used a piece of arazona desert iron wood in the front of the ivory with some brass and red fiber spacers along with some black spacers by the brass guard and pommel area as well. This one just melts in your hand with it’s and finish. The knife is 8-7/8 inches overall with a 4-1/2 inch blade to the guard making for a 4 inch cutting edge, Blade is just under 3/16 thick and 1 inch wide. This knife was made from a bar stock 200 plus fold twist pattern damascus billet. The knife billets are shaped, ground, polished, oil quenced hardened and tempered to rockwell 57 to 58, then acid etched to help bring out the damascus pattern, Then gun blued and given one final polish. Knife is a rat tang construction with a corby nut in the end so it will hold up if you decide to give it some use in the field. I also hand file the top of the blade in my sharp thorn pattern, All my file work is done by hand with a round file and a half round file, NO dremel tool here. The custom sheath was made by Carl Thomas of Mississippi. Your knife will come with a hand signed coa telling more about the knife and a dvd showing you around the shop. Knife will ship in a custom zip up storage case also. Shipping is $6.00 for priority shipping with insurance and signature conformation. SORRY NO INTERNATIONAL SALES
